Suzi, Angus and Thombelina run Salt Coast Inn and as much as it is our home, make it your home from home too.

Angus is a friendly, rotund Scottish Terrior who is very likely to lick you to death before he barks or bites. His main focus in life is food and tea and he will stare you down for a piece of anything – PLEASE don't give in – we promise he does get fed by us. He also believes any bed to be more comfy than his own, fortunately due to his shape he can't get on the beds, so don't give him a helping hand. Other than that he just loves people and wants loads of people in his house - he is fond of dogs but perhaps in the interests of a peaceful stay your dogs are best left at home.

Thombelina takes care of the main house and bedrooms. She comes to us from Cape Town having joined her husband here in Paternoster who works in the building industry which is still booming on the West Coast.

And then there is Suzi (me) who has been around so long in the food industry that if I were to list all the things I have done it would need a separate website which would take a week to download. After a long career in the food industry, mostly involved in training, I am happily settled in Paternoster and now bring a simple approach to just cooking (my own version of deconstructed food) The whole concept of Salt Coast Fine Foods & Inn is for you to relax in peace at the Inn, head to the eatery for breakfast, light lunch, snacks and sweet treats during the day (closed Tues and Wed)
